THERE ARE NO UNWANTED CHILDREN.

JUST UNFOUND FAMILIES!

Adoption is a commitment that you enter into blindly, but it is no different than adding a child buy birth. It is essential that adopting parents are committed to making it work, committed to parenting this child for the rest of their lives, and committed to parenting through the tough stuff. As a social worker I believe that adoption is the most loving choice that is available. Adoption is not “giving up” a baby, but instead I view it as a “giving to” a family and providing for “a child”.

As an intern with Sewa Bharti We, Anam Qayium & Niharika Khatri realized giving an Orphan child an opportunity to live equally in the society, giving them a family. That family which isn’t always blood. It’s the people in your life who want you in theirs, the ones who accept you for who you are. The one who would do anything to see you smile and who love you no matter what!

With the mission of providing parents with a child we did few community awareness programs, few field visits to hospitals, Government Dispensaries and police stations.

Field Visits

  • All India Institute of Social Science (AIIMS Hospital)
  • Safdarjung Hospital
  • Holy Family Hospital
  • Lajpat Nagar Government Dispensary
  • Malviya Nagar Government Dispensary
  • Lajpat Nagar Police Station
  • Malviya Nagar Police Station
  • Sarojni Nagar Police Station
  • Hauz Khas Police Station
  • Sarojni Nagar Slum Community
  • Shiv Mandir

As rightly said “awareness is the greatest agent for change” so with all of these entire visits we tried to aware people about our Ngo and the initiative taken by it. A hundred years from now maybe all this won’t even matter but somewhere we did try to bring a change!

I put my pen down by saying “having somewhere to go is home, having someone to love is family, having both is a blessing”! And with all our efforts someone will be soon having a shade because we planted a tree long back!
